So i was watching some of the videos on A16 (no dates). New bears, wolves, snakes in the desert. No more hornet, but a zombie vulture instead! Generators, electricity, auto turrets (like ARK), flamethrower traps, motion sensors/security camera, and pressure plates for the weapons. Solar panels to charge battery banks, adn well the battery banks The battery banks connected to generators connected to lights and traps look awesome. Loud speaker alarms! Zip lines! New zombie that charges like the cop, but doesn't blow up, he charges walls breaking things. Jail sliding doors, iron bars that can be flush aligned (not just middle like now). Outside corner stairs. Arch blocks to make an archway doorway or "whole" like a sewer. 3d frames, have depth to the frames. Changes to block placements too, ie: pick "Wood Frame" then when you place it, instead of left clicking to place, you simply hold E then pick from radial "Ramp" or "column" etc...so no need to craft dozens of blocks, you make blocks by "type of material" then when you place it, you pick the shape. Painting (native to game). Like mods now have, but you would simply build with concrete for instance, then paint wood or metal, or tile etc..maintains the durability of the original block. Generic storage crates..then just put a sign on it, you all know I love this one! Can also use the paint tool to and just paint each one. Doing motion capture for player animations. *talking about a future Alpha* Blueprints, so you can just "pop" in the prefab if you have the mats and blueprint. It is like ARK where you just had the translucent prefab. It is not real, then you "upgrade" each translucent block and it turns into the right block. Possibly have NPC's working on your town upgrading these translucent prefabs while you do other things.
