This profession, like farming, is a nice base profession. It provides for more professions than farming does though, so if you are into spending long hours placing seeds and making money, this profession might be right for you.

    Tree Trimmings (fruits/nuts etc) - Cooking/Handicraft
Grapes are great because of the short cooldown between picking and abundance of cooking recipes it can contribute to

    Seedlings - Alchemy
short term - mushrooms long term - aloe/cultivated ginseng

    Bundles for worms - Fishing
Roses are a nice bet here for bundles. Not only will the roses be helpful to Alchemy in making small root dye for tailoring, but it can be used to help make the roses in handicraft.

    Cotton - Tailoring
A lot of people like to bundle cotton for worms as well.

CORAL - Coral are found on the saplings merchant but give gathering experience. you are going to want to plant red and green (sometime antler) coral for alchemy as well as white and blue coral for handicraft

Experience Pens - 4hr plots that will grant a great deal of experience upon harvest.

    Supports Professions
    Tailoring ****
    Fishing ***
    Alchemy **
    Handicraft *

Yep, farming and gathering are my top base professions. Looking forward to comparing notes as the game gets going. Just joined the order of Genesis today.
