    We will be doing the training avatar tonight at 8:30-9 PM EST. Please let me know if you are going. I talked to several last night.

    We will be going scaled tonight so prestige will not be a road block. Playing your class well and following the plan can carry us through. What we need is:

    • 4 – Kinetics – 2 that have 100-120% god form damage.
    • 4 – Alchemist
    • 2 – LB

    Could someone please check scaling for buffing? Basically have a lower prestige player buff a character outside of a dungeon and then buff them inside a scaled dungeon. And send me a screenshot to chennemann@gmail.com This will be a huge help for us fighting the avatar.

    Watching this video it looks a scaled player can be very effective as kinetics. I am not sure if it works if the lower prestige players is an alchemist for example.



    Champion Avatar:
    • The champion avatar is going to be much more challenging. He has to be beat quicker and has more HP/damage reduction.
    • To prepare please work on your god/divine atlast to get as much % god form dps increase and also ideally god determination 2. Make sure you don't focus on the one that is PVP, not at home so don't remember the name. I believe you want the wrath ones.
    • In the champion avatar fight everyone can only grab the god orb once. That means everyone will be a god. Here is a way to do the god phases.
    Champion Avatar god form plan:
    • Phase 1 at 90 bars – kinetic #1, 2 and Alch #1 take god orbs – buffs are the same
    • Phase 2 at 50 bars – Kinetic #3, 4 and Alch #2 take god orbs – buffs are the same
    • Phase 3 at 10 bars – Alch # 3,4 and LB #1,2 take god orbs. LB #1 switches to Alch does God Army. LB #2 and Alch #3 switches to kinetic. Alch #4 switches to LB and does LB Ult. It will be important that alch #4 not alch ult before hand, we wouldn't want to have his ult on cool down. All Buffs including LB buff and then dps burst.

    · The champion has more HP, damage reduction and has to be killed quicker.

    Ok I found out some more information on the scaling.

    • Scaled players only get multipliers to their result stats (base dmg, crit dmg, bonus dmg, impulse dmg, hp bonus). Their base stats do NOT change (str, luck, might, etc). An alch buff would use their unscaled stats.
      lower prestige players can have more DPS than higher prestige players when scaled, but not always. scaling retains all stat ratios. if the lower prestige player min/maxed for offensive stats while still grabbing symbols each week, they could have much higher stats than a high prestige player who glutted up on might and stamina. once you reach a certain point, difference in symbols makes little difference.
    So we will need the lower prestige players be kinetics if possible and if not LB.

    Another person says this is not true. So we should probably test it out.

    Friendly reminder to anyone going as well - Don't forget to spend any Mech Atlas sparks you have. Those Mech Vulnerability and Defense nodes will help a ton. Working on getting some trophy upgrades can't hurt either, if there's time before we take on the real deal =)

    If we down the training avatar and get 700k+ tokens, I'm guessing some people will get a few sparks if they aren't capped at 1M already.

    Here is an even more detailed plan for tonight.

    Beginning of battle

    · Kinetics rush in on mounts together and start rotation
    · Alchemist #1 showers
    · Lightbinder #1 blessing of the sun
    · All lightbinder stream their assigned kinetic
    · All alchemist stim their kinetic
    · After first burst we continue attacking until 91 bars. We need to be ready for next rounds of buffs before hitting 90 bars.

    Full Buff Phase Breakdown (rotation used when a call for FULL BUFFS is made)

    · Alchemist A - throws bio
    · Alchemist B - showers
    · Lightbinder A streams their kinetic god (we should assign this before the fight) to 3 stacks
    · Lightbinder B streams to 5 stacks
    · Lightbinder A – does ult
    · Lightbinder B cast Blessing of the Sun
    · Alchemist A,B,C,D - Stim

    First God @90 bars:

    · Everyone goes to the last god orb and stacks up on the god. This will help the gods find the last orb.
    · God alchemist cast ultimate, while it is going off everyone else moves in. Lightbinders and support stay closer to the outside.
    · FULL BUFF ROTATION
    · Kinetics start rotation
    · After the sledge rotation everyone goes outside the avatar and kills adds. We wait until buffs are back up and then go back in.
    · Alchemist drops a terminal for cleanse as the tenacity buff wears off
    · Lightbinder cast tenacity for cleanse as the gods army buff wears off (raid leader will call for this)
    · Next alchemist showers, all alchemist stim, a light binder cast blessing of the sun and all light binders stream their kinetic god.


    We should be kicked out because of too much dps at this point. We then dps down to 51 bars then wait until buffs are up. We may do another buff rotation like above but no ult or bio.

    Second God @50 bars:

    · Everyone goes to the last god orb and stacks up on the god. This will help the gods find the last orb.
    · God alchemist cast ultimate, while it is going off everyone else moves in. Lightbinders and support stay closer to the outside.
    · FULL BUFF ROTATION – Lightbinders A and B swap roles from the first rotation, Alchemist A and B swap roles from the first rotation
    · After the sledge rotation everyone goes outside the avatar and kills adds. We wait until buffs are back up and then go back in.
    · This time alchemist drops a terminal and lightbinder cast tenacity (when raid leader calls for it)
    · Next alchemist showers, all alchemist stim, a light binder cast blessing of the sun and all light binders stream their kinetic god.

    We should be kicked out because of too much dps at this point. We then dps down to 11 bars then wait until buffs are up. We may do another buff rotation like above but no ult or bio.

    3rd and final god phase @10 bars:

    4 god orbs spawn this time, instead of only 3, so we add another kinetic. We have 10 seconds to do this one or he explodes and we all die. We have to wait until buffs are up so we have to be careful about dps and buff cool downs.
    · Everyone goes to the last god orb and stacks up on the god. This will help the gods find the last orb
    · God alchemist cast ultimate, while it is going off everyone else moves in. Lightbinders and support stay closer to the outside
    · FULL BUFF ROTATION – Exception: LB Ult may be on CD still – if so, both LB’s will stream to 5. LB B will still cast blessing of the sun
    · Kinetics start rotation

    Mechanics:

    · There will be an in and out mechanic that will be called. Basically a red band will be the floor if it is all the way near the edge we have to stay inside. If it has room for you to be on the outside of it then we need to be on the outside. Kinetics stay on the inside and we drop a terminal
    · There will be a red jump rope. It starts with one, then two then three. You can jump it. Kinetics can stonewall through it. Kinetics might be able to luminous burst? Alchemist can reflect it. At three it is hard to jump. This is a good time to cast halo
    · A random person can be targeted by a bomb. You need to move slightly away from others and say your name/bomb. Lightbinders need to shield you. When you get shielded run through the bomb
    · Random person can be cubed. Say your name and cubed. Lightbinder needs to shield you.
    · Lightbinders your focus need to be on keeping people alive and ressing
    · Everyone needs to use god healing often – Prioritize god heals over items, as the god heal cooldown works during combat, while the item cooldown does not

    I wont be able to make it tonight, lack of sleep has been causing problems at work and not going to be able to get sleep before hand today

    FYI - looks like tonight is only chance to down the training avatar.

    Operations will still continue when the champion avatar arrives. The training avatar will be replaced by the champion. Finally the bar should not reset since it is still part of the same invasion.

    That really sucked that Pharoh and my internet connection died. It was back up a little over an hour later, but that was kind of late. I hope you guys managed to get it down after we left. I think with a little better communication we would have had it done, we had a bit of misunderstandings going on there :)

    Thanks for the support and well wishes; it sucks you lost connectivity =( We held out as long as we could, hoping we could get you guys back, but had to move on eventually.

    We ware able to down him! Received a B-rank, 10 sparks of divinity (although it said 20 in the rewards screen, only 10 were received), a 500/500/500 reliquary, and ~700k mech tokens.

    All said and done, we got it down in the end running 3x kinetics with godform and lots of buffs =) The champion, from my understanding, will be significantly harder - so we'll really need to make good use of the reset tomorrow to fill out those last god nodes and pick up those last symbols people will need to help smooth the run, but we should be able to get him with the same strategy we succeeded with today.

    Not sure if we will have the same differences on our avatars as RU did, but what they saw in changes was:
    More HP
    80% Damage Reduction while the cube is opened (less godform damage)
    Debuff on players (each person in the party can get a god orb only once - so everyone will need to get godform at least 1 time in the fight)
    100 less seconds on the timers before he gets bonus abilities

    Other than that, he should be the same. Of all of that, the 80% damage reduction seems to be the biggest pain point. Everything else we can work around with some practice.
