Is there honor for the reds when they kill us in 'non-war' stage on homeland

Hi,

Ashlynmae here from the order of Genesis (AKA Farms-R-US)

I ended up with a home in Sandeep. It's a beautiful area, but of course I have to be ever vigilant for reds if I'm there during a non peace stage.

I was wondering if reds only get honor points for killing me when the region stage is in WAR? If not, I do not see the incentive to wipe my skinny little farming butt! lol

Some insight would be really appreciated.

No, honor is only received when the zone is in War.

I am also a carebear, but I think the incentive is just the lust for blood. I know that the one time we have raided their lands it was not war, but we left no one alive along the way.

The reason they are killing you is to speed up getting to War. The escalation to war is based on how many kills there are in the zone. I don't know how many is necessary, but the more they kill, the faster it gets to war, and then they can get their honor.

Oh yeah, that makes sense. So If I want to get to peace faster, I stand way out in the open and say "COME and GET ME" (over and over) ..then teleport back to my home from the priest and do it again so I can get back to farming..... LOL

Found this on escalating a zone to War:

1. Peace (2 hour duration) – During a peace period, players cannot attack each other
2. Tension – This phase lasts until 100 players have been killed
3. Danger – This phase lasts until 100 players have been killed
4. Dispute – This phase lasts until 100 players have been killed
5. Unrest – This phase lasts until 100 players have been killed
6. Crisis – This phase lasts until 100 players have been killed

So to put it simply from the end of the peace period it takes 500 player kills to push the zone into War

7. War (1 hour 20 minute duration) – During a war players can attack each other and earn additional honor. Players can also steal Honor through PvP kills in a war.
